I went through the toughest point in my life when I graduated from my master’s degree. Like any other person, I used all the available channels possible to find the right job that’ll make me happy, creating ExacMatch in the process.

The app was built to help people who have a hard time networking and finding the right job for them. Eventually we considered ways to make it easier for recruiters as well with specific features tailored to reduce the job hiring process from smart AI uploading to scheduling interviews altogether reducing the hiring time.

Turns out, being able to apply for jobs with minimal effort is great for society.

As the app was being developed, I kept asking myself the million-dollar question? What good is the app, if it’s not able to empathize with our users?

We stopped focusing on just matching people to jobs for the sake of employment. Instead, we built ways to make better matches and start meaningful conversations with recruiters and job seekers. And we anchored our decisions to one purpose: Would the seeker forget about the app after finding a job?

The result is ExacMatch as we know it.
